Our Story

A home, collected over time.
Before MHB at Home, I worked as a school psychologist. When my husband and I moved and began building our home, I found myself in a new season of life—and increasingly drawn to the process of making our house feel like us.
Somewhere between building our home and searching for pieces that felt right in it, I fell in love with interiors. I began gravitating toward the mix of old and new: pieces with character, rooms that felt collected rather than designed all at once, and homes that were beautiful without feeling too precious.
What began as finding things for our own home slowly became something more. I loved the hunt itself—discovering an unusual piece, imagining where it might live, and finding things that could give a room a sense of history and personality.Eventually, I began selling some of those finds at antique markets, and MHB at Home started to take shape.
Through it all, my husband has been beside me - working shows with me, helping with whatever needs to be done, and, most importantly, encouraging me as I stepped away from one career and found my way into another. Over time, what started as my love of finding beautiful things has become something we’ve built together.
Today, MHB at Home is still rooted in what started it all: finding pieces we would want in our own home and sharing them with people who want their homes to feel personal, layered, and collected over time.
